AFTERNOON TEA (an Etsy Treasury List)

Once upon a time I went on a Summer vacation and everyday at 3pm they would serve up afternoon tea. Cakes and sandwiches and homemade lemonade and general amazing deliciousness. Keeping the dream alive - some Tea Party Awesome vibes from Etsy.

Beauty Social: Mies Nobis jewellery interview + launch in Berlin 22.10.2011 (interview)

An interview with one of my loveliest (and most-babin’) best friends Mil. Killing it over in Berlin, she’s a longgggggg way from those early mornings we used to spend together flogging our wares at Bondi markets. #missyoumil

Once upon a time I made a knitted pendant and once I’d finished I realised it reminded me heaps of the Never-ending Gobstopper from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. That is all.

(ps - it’s now up on the etsy)

(pps - it has a matching ring)

(ppps - if anyone watched the ep of Californication that I saw last night, you’ll know what I’m talking about when I say the Gob-Stopper machine is looking a little creepy and sexual at the .10 mark. ewwwwwww).

How To Make Easy Little Gift Boxes

origami box instructions

OK, rather than write this all out myself with shoddy iPhone pix, these guys have done a much better job.

October 14, 2011 | 01:42 PM | 23 notes

Today I’m hanging out making things and drinking tea at Mini Mart (the crafty pop-up shop in The Rocks, Sydney).

On my to do list -
1. Knit some apples
2. Sew together a banana
3. Update my Etsy shop with a few new items (that I secretly don’t want to sell because I love them)
4. Make some Origami boxes.

Actually, I think I will do a blog now on how to make these little gift boxes, because they’re the handiest thing ever for selling crafts in, and they’re super cheap and easy to make. Stay tuned.

In the meantime, here are some pix xx

Today I’m trying to knit a tiny banana. I’ve done it before, but because I’m an idiot, I didn’t write down the amended pattern. I took this photo back in the day, so once upon a time I figured it out. I CAN DO THIS!
